Our Community
Marrickville is a culturally diverse community with a vibrant and diverse crowd of many nationalities. We’re a proud community made up of different cultures, ideologies and experiences that define us.
We acknowledge that this land area traditionally belonged to the Gadigal and Wangal peoples of the Eora Nation

Our Club
Our Club is 100% members owned and run. We provide the Inner West of Sydney entertainment, sport and cultural experiences, through our venues, restaurant and football (soccer) sporting club and facilities.
Inspiration
We do what we do because we really want to promote our culture, heritage and the Portuguese in Australia that brings the communal stories to life. We also want grow the club through our sports, recreation amd events that inspire and enrich us all as Australians for members and guests.
Sports
The Club has a football license with Football NSW and has teams in FNSW Skills Acquisition Program, Youth, Under 20’s and Open Mens First Grade. We also have 3 multipurpose all weather Futsal courts with 5 a side competitions and leagues.
Our Venue and Facilities
Our Venue has a multitude of configurations, and is fully licensed. It is situated 500m from Sydenham Train Station. Our Facility is on 4ha and boasts a full size soccer field and stadium, main bar club house, restaurant, grass top field, pavillion with stage and PA and projectors either seated or standing, dedicated BBQ area, conference or event hall, Three 5 a side all weather futsal courts and plenty of parking. Previous events have been held with over 3000 attendees such as Music Festivals, Boxing, MMA, Cultural Festivals, Concerts, Soccer Tournaments, visiting football teams, night markets, food markets and car park and film set hire.
Restaurant
Our Restaurant serves traditional Portuguese food from across all regions of Portugal. You’ll find a menu of Portugese classics including grilled seafood, clams, Alentejana pork as well as an eye catching Espetata de Carne Beef Skewer.
Our Future
We will continue to preserve our Portuguese culture and heritage in a globalised world. When the Portuguese came to Australia we became proud of the opportunity we had and what we have acheived here as migrants.

Fraser Park FC
Fraser Park FC, is an Australian football club with teams competing in grades of the National Premier Leagues NSW . The club also has teams participating in the Football NSW Skills Acquisition Program, which is the official Football NSW development program for players age 9 to 11 years. Their home ground is Fraser Park, off Marrickville Rd in the Sydney suburb of Marrickville.
Founded in 196I by Portuguese migrants, the “Clube Português de Sydney” as it was originally known, was born in Paddington, in the heart of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. It was here that a small number of Portuguese immigrants began to plan the future of the club, which later became Rosebery and then Fraser Park F.C.
The first official title won by the “Clube Português de Sydney” was at the All Age Gala Day arranged by Soccer NSW, which was held in 1961. The club has since gone to win 3 x Men’s State League titles in 1989, 1999 and most recently in 2019. The Portuguese have thrived in the Inner West, and Petersham, in particular, remains a cultural home within Australia for Portuguese Australians.
