ABOUT US

OUR COMMUNITY, OUR STORY

CELEBRATING PORTUGUESE CULTURE & COMMUNITY SINCE 1961

Founded by Portuguese migrants in 1961, the Sydney Portugal Community Club has grown into one of the most recognised Portuguese clubs in Sydney. More than a venue, we are a cultural home, a place where families gather, football thrives, and traditions are celebrated.

OUR CLUB

Member-owned and proudly rooted in the Portuguese community, the Sydney Portugal Community Club brings people together through culture, football and events. A true Portuguese club in Sydney’s Inner West, welcoming members, families and guests all year round.

FOOTBALL

Home of Fraser Park FC with a Football NSW licence. Pathways span Skills Acquisition, Youth, U20s and Men’s First Grade. On site are three all-weather futsal courts for 5-a-side football leagues, competitions and casual pitch hire.

RESTAURANT & BAR

Enjoy authentic Portuguese food in Sydney — grilled seafood, clams, Alentejana pork and our Espetada de Carne. Relax in our licensed bar after matches or events. Open Tuesday to Sunday. See menu and hours on the Restaurant page.

INSPIRATION

We exist to celebrate Portuguese culture and heritage in Australia. Through food, football and community gatherings we share stories, teach traditions and build connection, enriching the lives of members and visitors across the Inner West.

OUR VENUE & FACILITIES

A versatile, fully licensed venue. Stadium and full-size pitch, clubhouse bar, restaurant, pavilion with stage, BBQ area, conference hall and three 5-a-side futsal courts. Proven hosts of concerts, cultural festivals, markets, tournaments and film-set hire for 3,000+ guests.

OUR FUTURE

Proud of what Portuguese migrants built, we’ll keep growing a vibrant community hub. We’ll strengthen football pathways, expand community events and protect our heritage. Get involved through Memberships and Nominations 2025 to help shape the club’s next chapter.
